Virginia Scarf crocheted in fine cotton.We love fine yarn scarves, this is the sister to our Juliette scarf. It is rich and colourful, crocheted in Perle 8 cotton or other fine yarn, creating a beautiful soft texture. Our Virginia is very autumnal but you can use any colours you like to create a unique and personal piece.The scarf is made of 4-round crocheted motifs, sewn together, then a double crochet border added. It is 4 motifs wide by 30 long and measures 17cm by 132cm. The pattern is based on a simple, traditional crocheted square and is well suited to those with basic crochet skills.

Cool Baby Wraps. Soft double muslin backed in fine cotton, bagged together to make a cool cotton blanket. Stitched to hold the edges and highlight the patterns in the fabric.

Teacosies for a very traditional cup of tea. Busy and colourful, inspired by traditional designs where the thrifty knitter used up ends of wool to create very cheery cosies. The knitted cosies are lined and the crocheted one has deep fluted pleats to keep the pot warm. We have used traditional colours but the cosies are lovely in all sorts of combinations. They are designed to fit a medium to large teapot but can be adapted to fit other sizes. Choose from Flower Garden; Basketweave; Harlequin and Van Dyke designs.

Beautiful, soft, pure wool felt. European felt 20 x 30cm pieces in about 80 colours. Packs of 8 in colour themes: Bright, Cottage; Pastel, Animal and Christmas. Small packs of twelve 10 x 15cm pieces: Bright and Pastel.

Vintage Threads surplus from World War 2 services, mainly British (we are told), some Australian. Mercerised cotton used as a silk substitute, some beautiful for sewing, hand quilting, heavier threads for basketry, book binding and other projects or just to look at. Haberdashery tragics can't go past them.
